Abdulhakeem H. Osman (Adnan)
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
The CEO, Mr. Adnan, is a distinguished development specialist and strategic leader with over 18 years of experience guiding high-impact programs across government, non-governmental, and development partner sectors in Somalia, Kenya, and Ethiopia.
As the Chief Executive Officer of the AFROTRUST Research and Consulting LTD, he has provided visionary leadership and technical oversight, steering the organization toward evidence-based programming and regionally recognized impact
His career reflects a consistent record of managing large-scale governance, socio-economic development, and institutional reform initiatives. Mr. Adnan has played a pivotal role in aligning multi-sectoral interventions with national priorities and global development frameworks, enabling AFROTRUST to become a trusted partner among public institutions, civil society, and international organizations.
His leadership is marked by transformative outcomes in community development, governance reform, participatory development, and capacity building. Mr. Adnan has led the design and implementation of community-centered and government-led strategies that have resulted in improved service delivery, enhanced accountability, and increased civic engagement in fragile contexts. He is also recognized for advancing institutional change through robust monitoring and evaluation systems, stakeholder engagement mechanisms, and adaptive program models.
Dr. Yusuf Barre Mohamed
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Dr. Yusuf is an accomplished project and operations management professional with over 10 years of experience leading and coordinating programs across diverse sectors including public health, governance, communication, and development. His expertise lies in designing, implementing, and managing projects from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with institutional objectives and stakeholder expectations.
Yusuf has overseen largescale initiatives involving strategic planning, resource 17 management, budgeting, team leadership, and monitoring and evaluation. His ability to manage multi-layered projects has been instrumental in delivering results within complex and dynamic environments.
In his role as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the AFROTRUST Research and Consulting LTD, Yusuf plays a central role in strengthening organizational systems and driving the efficient execution of research and development programs. He brings a structured and solutions-oriented approach to operations, with a focus on quality delivery, process improvement, and sustainability.
Margaret Kimani
Quality Assurance Officer
Margaret Kimani is a dedicated professional with eight years of experience in research, consultancy, and training. She holds academic qualifications in both Law and Accounting & Management, equipping her with a unique blend of analytical, regulatory, and organizational skills. Her multidisciplinary background supports a well-rounded approach to quality assurance and compliance across complex operational environments.
As the Quality Assurance Officer at AFROTRUST, Ms. Kimani plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data and reporting processes. Over the past several years, she has led efforts to maintain high standards in data quality, supporting evidence-based decision-making and enhancing the credibility of organizational outputs. Her attention to detail and commitment to excellence continue to strengthen AFROTRUST operational reliability and impact.
